Want to volunteer and help your local community?
Volunteers needed to visit isolated, older people (65+) for just one-two hours per week in the following postcodes in Southwark, London: SE1, SE5, SE11, SE15, SE16, SE17 & SE8.
We believe that befriending raises a person’s quality of life and enables many older people to stay living in their homes for much longer. A few volunteers also carry out one-off practical tasks, like light gardening or cleaning windows. Expenses reimbursed.
