We are a young family about to move to a large country house in beautiful Devon close to the city of Plymouth. We are looking for an experienced live-in housekeeper who will be responsible for all the usual domestic jobs e.g. cleaning, washing and ironing to a high standard and who will help with our children - two girls aged 2 1/2 yrs and 18 months with another baby due in November. Some cooking ability would be an advantage but not essential.

You would have your own room on the top floor with own bathroom plus use of the children's nursery as a telly/sitting room, and eventually own cooking facilities.

The position is full time and ideally would include most week-ends, with days off during the week, but some flexibility on both sides would be required/offered.

We are looking for someone who really wants to do a good job, is honest, dependable, organised and has high standards. In return we would offer a good wage and a friendly family environment in which to work. For us a Filipino lady would be ideal as we have had good experience with Filipino ladies in the past but we are very happy to consider all nationalities.

Although we are looking for someone to commit to us long term, we would consider a more temporary post to help us through our move and arrival of the new baby.

Experience and references are essential as is having a permit to work in the UK. We will only consider those who are already in this country.
