We are a family of four with twins aged 12 and we need to replace the irreplaceable - our nanny/housekeeper who has been with us on and off since the children were born.

Ideally we need someone who is happy to help with basic housekeeping - some shopping, laundry, tidying and generally keeping us all in order - and preferably someone who would enjoy some dog walking on the Downs! We have a very soft flat coated retriever. This person should also be able to collect the children from school locally when necessary, prepare their supper and support them with any homework they might have.

The children need very little supervision but we certainly wouldn't want to leave them alone until we get back around 6pm.

An outgoing, fun personality is a must and honesty and very good references a given.

Both children (a boy and a girl) are very sporty and would love someone who wouldn't mind volunteering to be in goal occasionally.

This role could be around 3-4 hours a day during the week and then more full time during school holidays.

This could be a live in or live out position but we wouldn't require any help over the weekends - apart from the odd evening of babysitting.

Own car and clean licence preferred.
