Our Client is a medium multi disciplinary engineering consultancy in the UK. Due to the unrivalled success of our Energy & Sustainability Division we are now looking to appoint a Building Physicist/Mechanical Design Engineer to help lead the team. This is a key role and can offer not only fantastic career progression opportunities but also a first class remuneration package.
The Role........
You will be working with the Energy & Sustainability Team in terms of building energy simulation. Reporting directly to the Director of the Energy & Sustainability Team and working closely with the Building Services Engineering teams and Key Clients. Extensive involvement in the development and analysis of engineering strategies which promote low carbon buildings from scheme inception through to completion.
Our Ideal Candidate.............
Will have a strong academic background
Fully proficient in IES or TAS
Qualified Accredited Level 5 Energy Assessor which will enable you to complete Part L compliance and Energy Performance Certificates.
Capable of actively contributing, developing and analysing concept design options for buildings including thermal performance, daylight and ventilation strategies etc etc
Thorough understanding of low and zero carbon technologies and their impact on Building Regulation Compliance
First class communication skills, fully computer literate and commercially focused.

Salary and package will be dependent upon skills and experience but someone who meets the above criteria can expect and excellent basic salary, flexible holidays, 37.5 hour week, professional subscriptions, and excellent benefits package
