Our 2 recently renovated Gites have exposed ceiling beams, stone walls with terracotta and wooden flooring. Both are very light and spacious with fully equipped shaker style kitchens, they retain much character. They have electric heating and log burners.Within the large secluded garden is a plunge pool surrounded by decking and loungers, each gite has its own seating and BBQ area. Surrounded by stunning countryside, with uninterupted views and abundant wildlife the peace and tranquility make this a perfect location to relax and unwind, alternatively there are many signed walks directly from the front door. Nearby the many local activities include, Kayaking, conoeing, fishing, cycling, horse riding or swimming in one of the local lakes. We are open all year and there are small ski resorts within an hours drive.Sauxillanges is our nearest village with two great restaurants and all other amenities. A must attraction is the summit of the Puy-De-Dome where you can take in the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding extinct volcanoes.Chantgrele has no passing traffic and is very peaceful but not isolated, perfectly situated to explore the largely undiscovered and unspoilt region of the Auvergne and all it has to offer.
