Hello - we're looking for a saxophone player who can also play flute (or a flautist who can also play sax) to join "Dig?", a new prog/jazz/rock covers band, based in London. We want to be playing the music of (among others) 70s Genesis, Miles Davis, King Crimson, Brand X, Weather Report, Jeff Beck, Yes, Billy Cobham, Santana and more - and maybe move on to do original material. It's not a tribute act, more a covers band looking to put their own stamp on some exciting and challenging tunes: some will need a faithful reading of the original, others more open to interpretation. The line-up I'm hoping for is guitar, keys, flute/sax - an experienced bassist and drummer are already in place.

Interested? Hopefully you're competent, reliable, enthusiastic, good fun. You'll be familiar with some or most or all of the above artists; you'll have your own good quality gear and independent transport. Rehearsals will be once every week or two.
