Foundation School

Primary School

The middle school covers the International General Certificate Secondary Examination (IGCE) from University of Cambridge (UK). Students are regularly assessed for achievement and effort in each subject. Formal assessments take place at the end of each key stage. Subjects covered are as follows by a typical student: mathematics, English Literature & Language, Science, MFL, Humanities, Design & Technology, ICT, Art & Design and Business Studies

Senior School
The schools offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB). Students develop a broad range of skills and knowledge of various subjects. The IB Diploma is a well balanced curriculum that is globally significant and gives students the flexibility and opportunity to pursue a wide variety of subjects in their future education.

The school is looking for a English as Foreign Language Teacher (EFL) for a January 2009 start.

The post must have the following:
1. Degree holder with 5+ years experience TEFL Certification
2. Ability to teach multiple ages from 4 - 12 & mixed range of abilities
3. Au fait with the use of phonics & withdrawal / inclusion strategies to maximise learning
4. Supports classroom teachers (KS1,2,3) & runs a student extraction and re-inclusion program which “mainstreams” ESL across the curriculum delivered.
5. Be a native speaker of English
