A busy Local Authority requires a Planner to join their team and work in their Transport Strategy department.

The post is in Transport Strategy and involves:

1. Contributing to the transport aspects of the council's regeneration projects.

2. Liaising with Transport for London on strategy and progressing travel awareness, public transport, walking, cycling and safer routes to school initiative.

3. Liaison with the council's new Ward Forums on transport matters including developing Area Transport Strategies.

4. Preparing the transport part of the council's Network Management Plan for submission to Department of Transport
