Head Chef required for large prestigious contract caterer based in North West London, at a large multi national company. You will be dealing with all aspects of this contract i.e. staff meals, hospitality and some fine dining functions. The position is Monday to Friday and you will cook food for breakfast, lunch and hospitality using high quality fresh ingredients. They are currently producing breakfast for 100 covers and lunch up to 700 covers from the theatre bar, main staff meals and grab ‘n' go. They also have an exclusive bar on the top floor which is open from 12pm till 7.30pm which they serve a varied menu from.
The Head Chef's duties will include the day-to-day running of the kitchen, high levels of hygiene control as well as all legal requirements including Health & Safety. You will also be able to manage team of 7 chefs and be very hands on with their development.
As a Head Chef you should be very passionate about the food you produce and will have a minimum of 10 years work history within contract catering units and hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent and either an intermediate or advanced food hygiene certificate.
