Our digital division is growing and is looking for a Mid to Senior Developer to develop a number of digital projects from Facebook applications, to an online software platform which currently caters for 23 clients and growing.
You will have at least 3-5+ years commercial programming experience of online cms and payment gateway development.

Essential Project Experience
• CMS experience - must have at least 3+ years proven commercial experience lead development of a PHP cms site. E.g. (Drupal ,Typo3, Joomla!, Mambo, MODx,)
• Ability to create new & manipulate existing advanced cms components and tailor the functionality to a clients needs
• Payment Gateway integration – either through an ecommerce or related site (e.g. with WorldPay, SagePay (Protx), Paypal, HSBC, Google Checkout)
• Creation of a online admin financial product
• Web services integration (e.g. to/from another payment system or a CRM database
• XML - ability to use xml to parse information to client applications e.g. Flash, Facebook, iphone application.


Essential programming experience
• OO PHP 5 At least 3-7yrs experience (php 4 and 5) and LAMP environment
• MySQL 5.0+ (3-5+ years)
• OO JavaScript
• AJAX (e.g. use of: jQuery, Ext, Prototype & Scriptalicious, MooTool, qooxdoo)
• XHTML & CSS (html v4 & v5, CSS v2&3) & cross browser test (FFox, IE, Safari, Chrome)
• Demonstrated ability to architect and build scalable, high performing and reliable systems
• Provide technical leadership on multiple projects
• Ability to liaise with 3rd party suppliers


Secondary programming experience (not essential, but would be an advantage if you have commercial experience of 2 the following):
• .Net 2.0+ (1-3+ years)
• SQL server (1-2+ years)
• Facebook application development (1-2+ yrs)
• Flash ActionScripting (1-2+ yrs)
• Iphone application development
• Anti-hacking knowledge to ensure protection against browser and web app security exploits.
• Behaviour tracking/analytics, preferably Google Analytics & Omniture
• Web server configuration



Academic Qualifications
Ideally a 1st or 2:1 computer science degree, or programming related degree.
