Office Assistant
Exciting and challenging opportunity for an Office Administrator at the head office of a private members’ club in Soho, London. Suitable for an individual with at least 2 years proven experience in an office environment.
This role is extremely varied, perfect for a flexible, pro-active and creative individual able to work independently and juggle many tasks at once, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
A strong understanding of or experience in the hospitality and catering industry, and/or an interest in the creative fields would be tremendously beneficial.
Hours & salary for this role are negotiable, dependant on the applicant.
Key Tasks:
•Provide administrative support to both company directors, including typing, diary management and filing
•Manage the head office by maintaining all office machines and consumables and dealing with any maintenance, IT and telecommunications issues
•Light reception duties including answering the telephone, sorting the post, etc
•Maintain the company website
•Various other administrative duties (predominantly computer based)
Essential Skills:
•60 wpm minimum typing speed
•Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level essential)
•Excellent general computer literacy
•Polite and clear telephone manner
Desired Skills:
•Knowledge/understanding of design software such as Photoshop
•Database maintenance experience
•Interest/experience in the creative fields such as theatre and the arts
•Experience in Human Resources
