Learning Support Assistant

A popular East London Primary School is looking for supportive people that can aid the teacher in the learning development of the students.
The school is keen to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who is interested in working with children with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties within the Primary Education schooling environment.
Experience in supporting children with special needs is essential, whether this be in a classroom environment or an alternative setting. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of severe learning difficulties, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Applicants should have a strong personality, the ability to listen, be able to think on your feet, have a good level of self-motivation and a 'can-do' attitude.
Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
