Are you interested in working with young girls - leading groups, planning activities and playing games? Do you want some valuable leadership and organisational experience on your CV? Can you help to revive our girl guiding activities in Stoke Newington which are under threat of closure if we don't recruit more leaders?

Our popular guide, brownie and rainbow groups in Stoke Newington need you! Our current guide leaders are reaching retirement age and we need to get new leaders- would you be interested? We are looking for someone who might want to lead a weekly group or support an existing leader - we meet weekly with girls aged from 5 to 14 years old and we do activities as diverse as cooking, sports games, rock climbing and orienteering! We also offer a network of support to help coach you into a leadership role and there is a whole community out there waiting to support you and get involved. This can also include the opportunity to get a qualitifcation on your CV and some experience which would be invaluable for any potential teachers, youth workers or nursery assistant.

You can give as much or as little as you can - without your support, we will have to close 3 units and with your support, we can help keep this community alive.
