Payroll Consultant
A large Civil service department is looking to recruit a Payroll Consultant on a year long contact until December 2010. The position will be working out of their South East London offices and is a fantastic opportunity for an experience pay roller to progress their career within fast paced environment.
Job Specification:
- To process payroll data received from the HR department relating to starters, leavers, pay reviews, pay adjustments, sickness, and change of hours, deputising, and payment of allowances.
- To answer queries from HR and line managers.
- To process any changes to payroll that may arise out of queries, e.g. overpayments and underpayments.
- To manage own caseload, taking responsibility for maintaining workloads.
Person Specification:
- Previous Experience within Central or Local Government Payroll.
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
- Experience on the Resource Link Software (Northgate Software)
- Strong attention to detail.
