Policy Team Leader
An exciting new position within a Local Authority has recently become available for a Policy Team Leader.
Working within the corporate services department, the successful candidate will be directly line managing 4 staff, overseeing their workload and the teams' project plan. At this management level, you'll make use of opportunities to develop the team and work closely with the Head of Policy to improve performance. Along with this you'll work directly on policy and strategies (including health, economic & communities), overseeing their development and related projects.
The successful applicant will require:
- Direct line management experience
- Strong project management skills
- Experience of Local Strategic Partnerships within Local Government
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extensive policy, strategic, and analytical skills
- Local government experience
