You will require a good knowledge of AutoCAD (2009 LT used) and general draughting practices. Although you do not necessarily require any stone experience you must be a quick learner willing to establish yourself in this already successful company. As the sole draughtsman you should have a strong independent work ethic with good written and verbal communication skills as you will be dealing with masons, fixers, clients, designers, etc. on a daily basis.

You will be required to visit various site to take surveys then produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, etc. for client approval. Our factory & fixers will use these drawings for manufacture and fixing so they must be of an accurate and legible standard with excellent attention to detail. Items may include stairways, kitchens, external paving & planters, bathrooms, steam rooms, etc.

This is a challenging role and one that can be very rewarding as we work on beautiful buildings throughout London (even wider UK & Europe) but you must be willing to learn and may be working under pressure as the sole draughtsman in a busy stone factory.

Starting salary 20,000 per year depending on experience.
