VPH Ltd are a long-established digital agency based in Clerkenwell, London, with an enviable portfolio of blue chip FMCG brands as clients, including the BBC, Berghaus, Beam Global and ITV. We are looking for a front-end developer intern to join our small production team. This role would suit someone with a good knowledge of HTML & CSS who is eager to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in a high calibre digital agency.

Experience of Flash will be beneficial, as will JQuery (or similar), AJAX and interactive frontend coding.

The right candidate will be passionate about the web from a creative, technical and social perspective. They will be hard-working, self motivated and able to work “under their own steam” to client deadlines.

Proficiency in HTML/CSS will be tested in a short practical test

Required Skills:

HTML, CSS

Highly Desirable:

Photoshop
Flash / Actionscript,
Javascript / jQuery / Ajax
Exposure to server side technologies such as: ASP.NET (preferable), PHP or ASP, and databases such as MS SQL (preferable) or MySQL would be beneficial.

This will initially be a 3-6 month full time internship with the possibility of leading to a permanent position. The successful candidate will receive travel expenses, as well as valuable experience in a great agency.
