Business Development Manager
OTE £30K in St. Albans
Permanent full-time position
This is an exceptional opportunity for a business development specialist to work within a domestic business development and this firm renowned for its world leading professional power supply manufacturer. Due to planned expansion, now require an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
You will be capable of winning new business in the consumer channel sector whilst developing the accounts that you win. This is a highly autonomous role and the successful candidate will be highly motivated and focused on being very successful in the chosen career.
Required business knowledge/experience:
•Minimum 3 Years IT Solutions Sales experience, ideal in the IT consumer channel marketplace
•Demonstrable record of success in new business development as well as maintaining solid current customer relationships within the fast-pace retail market.
•Highly motivated, articulate with a high degree of personal integrity
•Combines drive, enthusiasm and a strong client-focus, with excellent people and consultative selling skills
•Capable of opening doors, creating opportunities and closing business
•A quick learner to catch up product knowledge
•Worked for Asian company would be an advance
Appropriate training for the company products and knowledge of the Power Supplies would be given.
Key responsibilities within the role include:
•Creates sales opportunities in assigned accounts and develops new business through referrals, cold calls and internal initiatives
•Develops and drives revenue generation for the consumer channels practice through both internal and external markets throughout the UK
•Requirement analysis, consultative selling and follow up on new prospects
•Teamwork – works closely with the PM and Back Office Team giving feedback and participating in developing the new PSU Business in Consumer Channels
•Develops consumer channels to attain higher levels either by winning new channels or enhancing current accounts
•Achieves sales revenue quota objectives consistently on a quarterly based compensation plan in support of PSU consumer business growth objectives
•Builds and maintains a strong working relationship within account set based on trust and respect and professional sales skills
•Takes personal responsibility for customer satisfaction and does everything possible to meet or exceed expectations
•Maintains a sales forecast summary for current accounts and prospects providing a clear indication of potential business both quarterly and beyond
•Able to present sales strategy plan and figures monthly and quarterly to reach targets
This will be a highly autonomous role and you will be provided with the technical resource to help you provide exactly the right solution for the clients in consumer channel. Having won a client you will be rewarded by the OTE bonus.
The package will depend on experience and what the individual can deliver. There will not be any cap on what you can earn. As a guide, the salary with an OTE could be £25,000 to £30,000.
