Set in an idyll position overlooking one of the best beaches in England and excellent golf course we are looking for a chef/chefs with great ability and passion. We source fresh produce direct from the local fisherman, such as Langoustine, Turbot, John Dory and meat from award winning suppliers.
We run a small 5,5,5 menu with a varied specials board depending on whats been landed or sourced.
Part of a small team of three we are wanting a chef who knows classic and modern techniques and one who has worked in fine dining type restaurants or award winning gastro pubs.
Everything is made to order and number of covers can vary between 40 - 70.
We need a dedicated chef/chefs who work well in a team with no inflated egos. We want someone who loves great produce and has a flair for cooking and someone with very high hygiene standards.
We have recently had some very good press, one from the Telegraph and the local paper described us as being very similar to Jamie Oliver's restaurant overlooking Watergate bay.
There is no white table cloths here but wooden natural tables in a great setting with outdoor terrace overlooking the sea, great wines
and food with perfect music.
Front of house are two managers from St John's in London which is a destination gastro pub.

Accomodation will be provided and wage will certainly be gauged on experience, a senior sous chef who is dying to run his own kitchen and take on role as head chef could be given his or her opportunity depending on previous experience.
We are situated in a small village called Embleton with four pubs a small shop. We are ten minutes away from the Market town of Alnwick and 40 minutes N east of Newcastle and one and a half hours from Edinburgh.
This is an ideal job for a healthy outdoor person, someone who loves, great walking, surfing,windsurfing, fishing or golf.
