Hello!

I'm the MD at St Giles' Parish Church in Camberwell. I'm looking for singers and instrumentalists to join our choir and musicians on Camberwell Green to sing Christmas Carols on Wednesday the 23rd of December.

This is the second year we've entertained people - last year we raised over £200 for charity in under an hour. This year we'd like to double that total!

The music for players will be around ABRSM Grade 3 standard and I will have parts in C, Bb, F and Eb available. We will have a limited supply of music stands and clothes pegs. Singers - as long as you have a good voice you're welcome to join in!

There is no fee as this is for charity - but we will provide hot drinks in church before and afterwards. You will need to wrap up warm! We will meet at St Giles at 7pm and sing/play for around 45 mins. This is an ideal and fun way to perform in public and you are welcome whatever your age!

a cellist, clarinettist and a pianist to play at our Carol Service on the 20th of December. You'll be joining some other musicians and the church choir - hopefully for a night to remember!

The line up this year will include Ubi Caritas (Duruflé), The Lamb (Taverner), Three Kings (Cornelius) and some new compositions.

You'll need to be around ABRSM Grade 7/8 and have experience playing with groups. Although I'll be able to send through most of the music in advance, there may well be some sight reading involved on the day.

The rehearsal will be at 4pm and the service begins at 7pm. There's a fee of £45 and drinks / food afterwards!
