The Kings Cross Steelers RFC is looking to recruit new players; regardless of experience, ability, nationality, etc. We are a very competitive yet warm, friendly and welcoming club with a vibrant social life.

Our first team has gotten off to a good start to the season, having won the first two game in Essex Div II. Having been promoted to Essex II, 2 years ago, and securing our position in the division, this season we expect to be challenging for a top spot and promotion.

Our seconds play competitive, yet social, games in a Merit table, and that squad is made up of former first team players, new players challenging for first team places and beginners.

Our club house is ideally situated close to West Ham station (Jubilee, District & Hammersmith lines), on Holland Road. Training takes place on Monday and Wednesday evenings, starting at 7:30. On Monday evenings we have dedicated development coaching, for rookies, and on Wednesday nights we’ve specific forwards, backs and second team coaches.

So, if you are thinking of getting back into the game, or switching clubs, or trying it for the first time, then the Steelers have something to offer for all.
