You are invited to participate in a functional MRI (fMRI) study investigating how objects are visualised in the mind’s eye running from Monday 9th November until Friday 27th November (between 8am and 5.30pm) at the Institute of Neurology, Russell Square (part of UCL).

Study Duration: 4 hours (with a maximum 90 minutes scanning time). You will receive financial reimbursement to cover your travel expenses and time.

Eligibility: In order to participate in this study you MUST meet a number of study requirements. In other words you must be able to answer YES to ALL of the following questions:

• I am healthy
• I am right handed
• I have NO METAL in my body
• I am aged between 20 and 35 years of age
• I have excellent written and spoken English
• I am university educated (or are currently studying for a university degree)
• I have normal or corrected (using contact lenses; not glasses) to normal vision
• I have normal hearing
• I have no tattoos

Please note that because there is a substantial linguistic element to this task, it is very important that participants have an extremely proficient level of spoken and written English.

YOU MUST ALSO CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE (7) right-handed, (8) healthy, (9) have no metal in your body, and (10) have an extremely proficient level of spoken and written English.
