Junior Sous Chef Needed
A fine dining restaurant is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join their team. The head chef is looking for a candidate who has minimum 2 years experience in 2 rosette restaurant. They produces fresh artistic food of a very high quality, the most suitable person will have a balanced temperament, pay attention to detail, great attitude and serious about the food they produce.
As a junior sous chef you will be supervising & delegating chef de parties, commi chefs, conduct ordering and be hands on with food preparation. The shift patterns are 3 doubles (8:30am – 3pm – 5:30pm to 11pm) and two straights (8:30 to 4pm or 3pm to 11pm), this is a serious kitchen and the head chef wants to achieve 2 rosettes once the team is in place.
Annual salary for this role is £22K, 21 days holidays + 8 bank holidays, up to £100 per month tips.
