An exciting opportunity has arisen within this successful International bank for a newly qualified accountant to join their product control team.

Working within the middle office accounting team you will get full exposure to a variety of products.

Key responsibilities
Production of daily profit and loss reports
Prepare detailed analysis and decomposition of daily profit and loss
Liaise with front office on daily analysis, discrepancies and valuation differences
Deal with ad hoc queries (current and historic figures from front office, management and other departments e.g. Cash Control, Risk Measurement)
Reconciliation of the Balance Sheet
General Ledger Confirmation and price Testing
Constantly review process flows, internal controls, reporting structures etc
Month end reconciliation

Key skills:
Fully qualified accountant
Experienced in auditing within financial services organisation
Degree Qualified (2.1 or above)
Preferably from Big 4 (although other applications will be considered)
Confident personality with ability to work as part of a small team to tight deadlines essential
Strong excel skills
Strong communication skill
