Project Manager for leading Cartoon Company – 40k +
This leading kids wear brand has an opening for a Project Manager to join their dynamic head office team on a maternity cover contract.
Coming from a creative project management ideally working within a design studio
You will use your experience of managing a studio and briefing character artists and designers in order to ensure projects are running on time and to budget.
Within this remit you will be responsible for:
Assisting in Critical Path management - responsible for studio planning for all creative style guides and character art projects ensuring each stakeholder is aware of timings.
Studio Management – Lead status meetings with the creative team, receive all creative briefs required for the character artists and designers and planning their schedule in terms of workload
Ensuring the team have relevant information to fulfil the briefs
Providing updates to the Design Senior Manager and Franchise Creative and obtaining approval of the artwork at key stages
Budget Management – responsible for forecasting, controlling and managing project assigned budgets.
Communication - Manage internal and external communication of all creative projects, updating relevant departments, freelancers and agencies
Successful candid dates must have extensive relevant experience coming from a background in creative project management ideally working within a design studio and briefing character artists and designers
You will be detail orientated and have strong management skills and the ability to direct work of others, set priorities and provide timely feedback.
You will also be Computer literate in Illustrator and Photoshop an advantage and be comfortable with tight time lines & budgets in a fast paced environment.
