Male Personal Assistant (Care)
Male Personal Assistant Required
5 Evenings Per Week
+ 1 Night Shift
£10,060.80 (gross per annum)
(May consider separating into 2 jobs)
One night shift approximately 9 PM and 9 AM
(times will vary)
5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday
(times will vary - extra shifts a possibility)
Reasonably fit, sensible, reliable, sound MALE with an optimistic, 'can do' spirit required for personal care, running errands and helping with practical jobs and some domestic work.
This is a permanent position and you will be kept busy, so please apply only if you are serious about work and looking to stay for at least 12 months (hopefully longer).
Experience is not necessary, however you will need a positive attitude, a friendly, willing personality, common sense and be able to travel easily to Chessington.
Full-time hours and other opportunities become available from time to time, and will be offered to those demonstrating commitment and genuine interest in the work.

The basics:
· Live out position.
· £838.40 per month (before tax)
· Zone 4/6 (I live in walking distance of good public transport links)
· Based in Chessington, Surrey
· Not suited to people seeking a traditional carer role.

5. Allowed to work; National Insurance No. or working visa (valid working visa for minimum of 15 months)
6. Patient and willing to learn new skills; enthusiastic at work
7. Positive about life
8. Able to interact with people sensitively
9. Mature but light-hearted about life
10. Speaks and understands English well (good communication is vital)
11. Physically fit (reasonable energy and stamina, as manual handling is involved)
12. Willing to accept instructions from me (to be my arms and legs)
13. Practical - willing and able to work with their hands on a range of things
14. Willing and able to multi-task as needed
15. Prepared to work on short and long-term projects
16. Not mind what you do, including some domestic chores (accepts what has to be done, has to be done).
17. Listening skills (to help me do things my way or achieve what I need)
The job is also open to people who:
· are from all work backgrounds;

· prefer work that has meaning and real value;
· are retired, or semi retired, but still active.
