Are you an experienced Secondary Teacher who has the commitment and drive to take on an exciting new role?

Trust Education is looking for an experienced Secondary Teacher who has knowledge and experience within the Post Statutory Education sector. Based in North London within a Local Authority, this is a completely new role therefore the successful candidate would need to be adaptable, flexible and be able to always look at the wider picture.

The role will be varied and require the post holder to hold consultation sessions with students, other professionals and outside organisations to collect data on students who are or are not actively engaged in post compulsory education.

They will have to:
-Develop a method of collecting/collating and reporting of this data
-Monitoring the data and its outcomes
-Develop and build relationships within the department and with a variety of outside organisations
-Provide career guidance and advice to students
-Be easily able to set goals, monitor and motivate student outcomes
-Implement study sessions for students

The successful candidate must have:

-An understanding of the current changes in Post Compulsory Education
-Have excellent IT skills and be highly proficient in the use of Excel
-The ability to work towards a goal, but also realise the importance of adjusting their approach to reach said goals
-The ability to work within a team and take direction, whilst also showing initiative

This position is initially for a 6 month period, and salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
