Hugely successful investment bank based in the City are recruiting for a newly created Group Finance Systems Administrator / Accountant role. This position sits within the Group Finance Information Systems team and your role will be to support their UK and offshore finance team members on JD Edwards and Hyperion accounting and reporting systems.

Your duties will include:
Assisting with administration of JD Edwards GL system and Hyperion applications (Essbase, Planning, Reports, MDM)
Administration, housekeeping and maintenance of central data structures in accordance with Group Finance policy
Assisting with interfacing of data with other internal systems (including actual, budget and forecast data)
Assisting with month and year end procedures in relation to the finance systems of the department , according to the Group reporting timetable
Assisting with general user support, and the provision of guidance and training to user base
Assisting with various ad hoc duties and projects

Candidates must have accounting skills (AAT or Part Qualified Level) with experience of Hyperion (Essbase/Planning/Financial Reports) and ideally JD Edwards exposure. You must also have experience as a Systems Administrator and be highly competent with MS applications (especially Excel).

This role is temporary while they recruit on a permanent basis. The successful temporary candidate can also be considered for the permanent role.
