Do you enjoy teaching Maths, Science and English to enthusiastic children?

We are a tuition school based in West Hendon, NW4.

We are looking for a person to teach Maths, Science and English from year 3 to year 11 on Saturdays. We have two sessions - a 3 hour morning session between 9.30am and 12.30pm and a 2 hour afternoon session between 1.15pm and 3.15pm.

You will be assigned to a group of 6 children of one age bracket, e.g. 7-8 year olds, or 14-15 year olds. The children may be preparing for SATS, GCSE exams or generally improving their grades.

The position is initally temporary part-time but could become permanent part-time - as this role will be ongoing.

You do not have to be a qualified teacher to apply for this role, but we would expect you to have at least A-Levels or be a graduate and have some experience of teaching children perhaps gained via a tuition agency or privately. Private tutors and tutors working for other agencies are welcome to apply. We will require a CV and the names of 2 referees. A CRB check certificate would also be preferred, but if you don't have one right now thats OK, we will advise you on how to get one. Salary: £15.00 per hour. 3 hours for am session and 2 hours for pm session.
