This position is for a kitchen assitant in a busy Italian delicatlessen/restaurant. Campania Gastronomia is located on Columbia Road which holds the famous flower market every Sunday. Hundreds of people flock to Columbia Road to enjoy the plants and relax, we are therefore very busy on a Sunday. Campania is open during the week but it is generally much more relaxed.

Days and hours ( You must be flexible)

Saturday 10am to 5pm
Sunday 9am to 6.30pm
There may be additional hours available during the week.

Duties:
You will be responsible for all dishwashing duties and hand washing of cooking utensils such as pans etc
A clean and tidy approach at all times.
You must be able to think fast on your feet and cope under pressure with several responsibilities at once.
Assist the chef with any food preperation
The cleaning duties involved in a commercial kitchen
Final closing checks of the entire restaurant

Salary

£6 per hour plus a share of the restaurant tips
