Mum is a warm friendly woman. She likes singing, dancing, chatting and going for short walks, but, she has memory loss and so she needs friendly support and care.

We want to offer a trustworthy, kind WOMAN STUDENT, free board and lodging in a nice house for 7 nights and £90 per week for working
PART-TIME to share, with another woman student, the care and companionship of Mum.

The house has all modern conveniences including broadband and central heating.

It is an ideal position for a woman who wants to study part-time at a local college in West London for example, Ealing, Acton or Uxbridge, or if you are studying for a Masters or a PhD. You will be able to study in the house whenever you are not on shift and after 8.00pm, when Mum is in bed, when you are on a working shift.

In exchange we want you to be with Mum for two to three shifts during weekdays. This means being in the house, cooking and giving Mum an evening meal and companionship and then helping her in the morning and giving Mum her breakfast.

You will also share weekend care with the other au-pair. As the week is shared we would hope that we can fit the hours of being with Mum around your studies, wherever possible, and hope that both daytime and evening companionship will be available at weekends.

You will be expected to keep the house nice and clean.

Please note this is not a holiday job we would expect a commitment for at least 4-6 months to the post. We would like someone who is able to start at Mum's at the end of November..
