Pr Account Manager

We are a full service consultancy developing and implementing structured marketing and public relations programmes for the world’s leading technology companies. Metia are looking for an Account Manager to join their London based PR team. To implement high quality public relations and marketing communications programmes for clients.


List of duties & tasks
Generate great coverage for our clients
•Develop and implement innovative and creative public relations plans for your clients
•Contribute to proposals/plans
•Generate coverage for clients in target publications
•Prepare/oversee the production of public relations material including press releases, feature articles
•Maintain relationships with journalists and editors in target publications
•Monitor wires, feature lists and relevant publications for opportunities for coverage for clients

Help create and project manage marketing campaigns
•Contribute to plans/proposals
•Help to generate creative ideas
•Liaise with client and internal teams
•Make sure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and meet objectives

Deliver quality customer service and value for money
•Develop and maintain client relationships with allocated accounts (PR) with your account director
•Maintain your understanding of your client’s business and their customers
•Meet agreed client deadlines and proactively manage client expectations and delivery
•Meet agreed Metia and client reporting requirements usually monthly including budget status as appropriate
•Arrange and attend regular work in progress calls and/or meetings
•Work with the account director to ensure clients are invoiced appropriately and on time for retainers and projects
•Know how much time is allocated to each client and project and monitor

Person Specification

•Degree level qualification and/or relevant industry experience
•Extensive experience in a PR role in a B2B capacity
•Good working knowledge of MS Office
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•Organised, proactive with excellent attention to detail
•Experienced team player
•Experience of staff management desirable, but not essential
•Interest/experience in financial services/technology sector ideal
