My Client Primary School in Southwark is looking for a General Primary Teaching Assistant to work in their Year 3 class from December 14th. The position will be full time for the remainder of the Academic Year. ( To July 10')

The class is high achieving, as reflected in the 2009 Year 2 SATs. Over 90% of the children were working at level 2 or above for both Maths and English. You will be expected to be able to work competently with the Maths and English groups.

The Head wants an enthusiastic and committed individual who will also assist with both lunch time and after school clubs. This could be an ideal role for a graduate looking to embark on a teaching career via the PGCE/GTP from September 2010.
