Enterprise Risk Analyst (Graduate Level)
The Risk Management Department is responsible for ensuring the effective management of risks throughout the organisation. This involves supporting the business in identifying, documenting and mitigating all risks which may impact the achievement of business objectives.
The Corporate Risk Committee determines the responsibilities of the Department and is supported by five specialist sub-committees.There are also three geographical Risk Committees.
Two key areas of activity are the monitoring of risks arising from new products and the management of the insurance programme. Insurance coverage needs to be properly co-ordinated with the overall risk management strategy.
The role will involve providing support to the Head of Risk Management in the above activities. This will include liaising with senior management across the organisation and carrying out targeted risk reviews.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES.
•Provide support to Head of Risk Management to ensure effective management of risk throughout the business.
This will be achieved through the following activities:
•Maintain and update the risk register using the risk management software package
•Monitor the progress in implementing mitigating actions for critical risks
•Prepare papers and analyses for the Corporate Risk Committee
•Provide support in managing the insurance programme
•Attend risk sub-committees and provide risk management input where required
•Liaise with risk specialist functions (AML, Fraud, Integrity, Infosec etc.) to ensure critical risks are properly identified and managed
MUST HAVES (skills & knowledge)
•Educated to graduate level
•Experience in a similar role with proven results
•Understanding of risk management methodology
•Strong computer literacy skills
•Experience of drafting analyses and papers for senior management
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work to strict deadlines
•Strong influencing skills
•Commercial awareness
