Poetry competition
Do you feel like sharing your feelings, views and concerns regarding the environmental issues with the world?
Would you like people to read your poems and give you feedback how they like it?
Now is your chance.
Not only you will gain the wide audience, there are also prizes to win:
Poem of the Month:
- 2 cases of your favourite muesli
- being published in the Lifescape magazine
- monthly great exposure on Alara website and for ever after in the Archive
Poem of the Year:
- cheque for £1000
- special coverage in the Lifescape magazine
- yearly vast exposure on Alara website and for ever after in the Archive
How the competition works:
- Poems will be accepted for submission through out each month
- From the 1st of the following month they will all be displayed on the website,
available for public voting.
- After a month of voting, the poem with the highest amount of votes
automatically becomes the winning Poem of the Month.
- After the 9 Poems of the Month have been chosen (March-
Nov), they each will be automatically entered into a separate competition for
Poem of the Year. The voting for this will happen through out December 2009,
with the winner announced on the 1st of January.
- Authors will be able to see how many votes their poems gained and what
position they achieved after each monthly competition ends.
- The whole process is completely automatic.
