Keen on Bars Ltd are a small but expanding independent pub company and are looking for a strong assistant manager to join the team in our newly acquired 2nd site in South West Hertfordshire.

We are a company that truly strives to deliver fantastic service with high standards of product quality and attention to detail.

The new site is a busy & dynamic pub in Rickmansworth with a quality food offering that is complimented by an excellent wine list, Continental lagers and a wide range of real ales.

Our profile for the perfect candidate looks like this:

-Has specific experience in running a busy food operation and serving in excess of 120 covers on some shifts.
-Fluent English speaking and be eligible to work in the UK.
-Can communicate excellently with customers, kitchen, floor & bar team.
-Has experience of drawing up rotas, cellar management, cashing up, stock & order, developing staff and running the business in the GM's absence.
-Proactive and capable of running a busy shift but also able to motivate a team effectively in quieter times.
-Has a calm and decisive management style.
-Has amazing attention to detail.
-Great time management skills.
-Must be prepared to work closely with the other managers in the company to deliver controls.
-Bright & enthusiastic/eager to learn.
-Confident, reliable and extremely courteous.
-Intuitively understands and lives the customer journey.

As previously mentioned this pub is the 2nd of 2 currently owned by the pub company with a third in the pipeline hence there will be opportunities for development for the right candidate who is thirsty for knowledge of the industry.

Remuneration.

Live in = £17,000 salary + bonus scheme.
Live out = £20,000 salary + bonus scheme.

A personal license is preferred but is not essential for the perfect candidate so please don't let this stop you from applying if you believe you're what we're looking for:-)

Training and development will be provided (including personal license if required).
