Are you a qualified Design & Technology teacher who’d be interested in teaching Food Technology and Textiles from September in a school described this year by OFSTED as “Outstanding”.

This specialist technology school has an opening for a dynamic and progressive teacher of Food Technology & Textiles to join an experienced department from January on a long term supply or contract basis for 2 terms. The school can also offer a permanent contract for the right candidate for September 2010. They are looking to recruit a teacher of Design & Technology that can confidently deliver Food Technology & Textiles across the age and ability range and ensure all students maximise their potential.

The school is a large mixed comprehensive with over a 1400 students on the role and boasts outstanding facilities and resources. Teaching and learning were graded as outstanding by OFSTED this year as well as pastoral support and leadership. The school has a diverse student population which creates variety and character which is evident when visited.
