Technics Turntables - SL1210MK2 – great condition
The famous SL decks are legendary and long recognised by the words DJ’s as the best club-use turntable. They are consistent, easy to use and have excellent sound. The turntables use the original integral roto-platter Direct Drive motor for smooth, non-stop performance and unwavering quartz DD accuracy. This gives the ability to spin records with quick starts, stops, and scratches, for the ultimate mixing experience.

I played recreationally so the decks do not have the wear and tear of a professional DJ. The decks are in perfect working condition with no problems.

I replaced the cartridges not long ago – Currently they are Stanton 500 AL II with lots of life left in them.

The only issue is that the dust covers are cracked. The covers were off the turntables when they got cracked so there is absolutely no damage to the decks themselves. See the pictures on flickr (link below) for further details. Other than that they are in perfect condition

Includes original box and packaging. They were bought at West End DJ in London for £50 and have seen minimal use.

Over 300 Records!
The real highlight of the package is the large number and variety of records that are included. There is quite a variety of music represented. I would say the majority are classic house and dance tracks, but there is everything from rock to hip hop. I originally bought them as a package 4 years ago, and have added a number since then. Most of the ones I’ve added since have been funky and minimal house tracks. They are perfect for an aspiring DJ to learn with. It’s great to have an instant collection to choose from.

How to DJ (properly) – Good condition
Excellent book that walks you from the basics of beat matching through to more advanced DJing techniques.

I am moving out of the country and would love to take them with me but everything is just too heavy and I don’t play them enough to justify shipping them.

All in all an excellent package for starting out in DJing. Learning how to DJ with vinyl is absolutely the best way to start.
