Accounts Assistant with Sun experience
A large and utilities and energy company based in Central London is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable clerk with recent working knowledge of Sun accounts to join their lively and sociable team on a 10 month maternity cover contract with a possibility of permanent employment.
The position itself will involve:
- Matching, Batching and Coding invoices
- BACS, CHAPS and Cheque payments
- Managing supplier queries via phone and email
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly processing of staff expenses
- Filing and other ad hoc administrative tasks as required
The successful candidate for this position will have a strong background in accounts payable or purchase ledger and must have recent working experience of sun accounts and a good standard of excel. A good team fit is also imperative for this position - the role would suit an individual who is used to a "work-hard, play-hard" culture and someone that enjoys a sociable environment with plenty of banter. There will also be an opportunity to assist with Management Accounts preparation.
This is an excellent role with opportunities for project work surrounding a process improvement project as well as a challenging all-round accounts payable position.
