Location: Central London
Salary: £120 per day
Our client is a successful multi national oil and gas company who are looking to expand there team with an excellent candidate who is has previously worked in a role where they have had to implement and manage new processes within the finance function. This role is a years temporary position to cover a maternity leave, it is an excellent opportunity to work for a very well respected organisation. This organisation has recently implemented SAP1 so the successful candidate will have experience with the supply modules used in SAP.
Duties of the position:
- Manage implementation and compliance with Group procedures and documents
- Investigate and resolve procurement and workflow issues
- Provide technical advice and assistance in relation to procurement practices and systems
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers
- Manage unprocessed workflows and ensure all suppliers are paid efficiently
- Manage system enhancement requirements from a purchasing perspective
- Ensure invoice queries are managed effectively
- Creating and maintaining purchase orders
- Performance monitoring reporting
- Expense claim processing
- Perform monthly VAT review
- Process cheque requests and deposits of Bank of America
- Ad hoc administration assistance to Finance team as requested
This role is looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills and is highly motivated. There is a certain element of training other employees on the processes that have been put in place (with regards to purchasing). The applicant that is employed for this position will need to be able to build strong working relationships quickly with customers, suppliers, peers and management.
Experience with the SAP workflow is a necessity for this role and would be beneficial to have exposure to the supply modules and processes.
