We are looking for an experienced and kind nanny for a full-time, live-in position in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Employment is to begin immediately after the New Year.

We are both employed full-time with Mum to return to work in mid-January after maternity leave.

The role is to be sole-charge nanny to two lovely, funny 11 month-old twin boys with all nursery duties. The boys are happy, pleasant and a joy to be around. They are involved in several playgroups/activities each week, which we would like them to continue to attend.

Needless to say, we are looking for someone very special:
* An experienced (3 years +), gentle person who genuinely enjoys taking care of small children, and who ideally has experience with twins (or certainly two siblings very close in age)
* Someone with the energy and knowledge to stimulate the boys’ development and make the day fun with activities inside and outside the house
* A clear CRB check
* A non-smoker
* First-aid training preferred
* A driving licence is preferred
* A valid work permit for the UK that doesn’t expire for at least 18 months, and preferably longer

Hours are 7:30 am to latest 7:00 pm Monday-Friday. We generally don’t require any babysitting, but flexibility to babysit about once a month would be nice. Accommodation is excellent in a great neighbourhood. We are close to the park and walking distance to the town centre. St Albans has fast and frequent train links to central London. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
