Designer shoe label Kat Maconie currently stocked in Harvey Nichols, John Lewis and a number of UK fashion boutiques and who are enjoying massive International expansion are recruiting a part time intern to help assist their team in all areas of the business on Tuesdays and Fridays, the successful applicant will be responsible for helping out in many areas including:

Trend and Design
Specification sheets for the factories
Assisting with look book shoots
Assisting with press and launch events
Keeping the press book up to date
Delivering press samples to fashion stylists and journalists
Researching new target boutiques to sell to world wide
Data inputting buyer’s orders into company database
Updating website
General admin
Customer service

Suitable candidates must be able to draw to spec, be confident on Illustrator, have exceptional admin skills. basic website skills and be passionate about shoe design. The office is based in Shoreditch and so a local applicant would be desirable.

The role will give a real insight into all aspects of working in a wholesale fashion business, candidates who are interested in both long or short terms positions will be considered.
