Singer/songwriter/guitarist needs bass-player & drummer for Rock&Roll band.

The idea is to have a modern-sounding band, original material, rooted in (Lou Reed, John Cale &) The Velvet Underground, (Iggy Pop &) The Stooges, Bowie; early Punk Rock (Sex Pistols, Ramones, all the way to Joy Division).
(but also mid-60s Dylan, Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, Hendrix, The Doors, MC5, New York Dolls, Roxy Music, etc...)

Please note:
1) Dedication, commitment, attitude, and ambition essential, on the basis that the more we put into it, the more we'll get out of it.
2) Backing vocals would be a welcome bonus. R'n'R looks a requirement, but no cartoonish exaggerations needed.
3) This is not an hobby for me, i.e: PLEASE, NO TIME WASTERS.
4) Once we have rehearsed a 15 song repertoire properly (plus a few covers) gigs, management, etc.. will follow.
5) Eventually we might have a 4th member, ideally someone who could alternate between guitar and piano/organ (plus backing vocals), but as a 3 piece we can start going...
6) This ad is for a real band, not for a backing band or session musicians for a solo artist
