'Training in the Park' - We play touch rugby on a Sunday at 4pm on Wandsworth Common.
Week days (morning and evening) and Saturday mornings we focus on all aspects of rugby fitness, exercises include:- SAQ equipment, fast feet ladders, hurdles, changes of direction, box work, acceleration sprints, boxing, we use a resistance pad for power, we do shuttle runs and upper body, core, and leg exercises.
This is suitable for all levels of fitness, all positions, men and women. Sessions last one hour. We often finish with a gentle game of touch.
We run the rugby fitness training sessions at Barnes (Barnes Green), Battersea Park, Richmond (More Mead Park), Kew (Kew Green), Wandsworth Common, Putney (Wandsworth Park), Wimbledon Park and Parsons Green (Eel Brook Common).
