Support Workers Within Social Care


We are currently recruiting male and female support workers to cover a number of vacancies that we have across Buckinghamshire.

Suitable candidates should meet the following criteria:

Knowledge and understanding of the physical and emotional needs of people with learning disabilities or mental health.

To assist service users to make contact with local day centre's, adult education, leisure services, lunch clubs, etc....

Together with the rest of the team, assist service users with developing living skills in accordance with the goals identified in their individual personal plans.

Good verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with the client's families, advocates, colleagues and various agencies.

Requirements:

Should have a minimum of 1 year paid experience of working with people with a learning disability in a supported housing or residential care setting.

DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL DRIVERS ONLY

You will also need:

References covering the last 2 years.
