Lead Receptionist Private Medical City Of London
The role:
Our client, a leading healthcare organisation, is seeking a Lead Receptionist to work within a corporate investment bank based in the City of London, on a 6-12 month contract.
This is an incredibly involved role, requiring you to act as team leader to 2 receptionists, and support the Centre Manager. Furthermore, you will assist the other receptionists with meeting and greeting all corporate employees visiting the centre, managing the booking process for appointments and providing practitioners with the necessary medical records form the in-house filing system. You will also be required to undertake some typing of medical reports, collate monthly attendance statistics, and schedule medical couriers for laboratory deliveries.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a candidate with previous reception experience, preferably within the medical sector, as an understanding of medical terminology would be highly advantageous. Previous supervisory experience is essential.
Due to the corporate nature of the centre’s patients, a professional and polished manner is essential, as are exceptional communication skills.
To succeed in this role you must be a team player, with a flexible and positive attitude, who is able to take initiative and manage their workload effectively.
Experience of using medical software would be extremely beneficial, and the successful candidate must possess Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Our client is one of the UK’s healthcare organisations, providing a large number of in-house medical centres to the capital’s top employers. This role is located in the City of London, in excellent commuter territory and close to local amenities.
What’s on offer:
A salary of up to £22,500 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
