We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to look after our two gorgeous sons (aged 5yrs and 3yrs) and to help manage our busy household four to five days a week – to start January 2010.

Our eldest son is at school full time and the youngest is at school five mornings a week. Both children have an active after school life which includes swimming lessons, tennis, gymnastic and French all of which you would be responsible for taking them to and managing. They are vibrant, funny, terrific kids – we want someone who will love them, help with homework and show initiative in terms of play and learning.

My husband and I both work full time but I have my own business and my office is at home which provides a degree of flexibility in terms of the working week. For example if you would like to have a couple of mornings to yourself between drop off and pick up in the mornings when the children are at school then we are happy to discuss this. However, we would like a minimum of two to three mornings of housekeeping a week which would include a combination of cleaning, washing and ironing, organising and tidying, grocery shopping and cooking – depending on what needs to be done.

Hours would be 8:00am – 6:00pm with occasional after hours babysitting which we will pay for in addition to your salary.

We are looking for the following in you:

- A love of children, enthusiasm, energy and warmth
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Must have a good command of English – fluency in German or French would be highly desirable.
- Current advanced CRB check
- First Aid certificate preferred (or willingness to get one)
- A minimum of 3 years experience with children (with references)
- Full Visa/Work permit for a minimum of a year
- Must be 22 years or older – we are happy to consider older applicants
- Great confidence in driving with a full clean driving licence
- Non smoker

Ultimately we are looking for someone who will feel part of the family – someone who is fun, proactive, honest, reliable and loving.
