The Role - 6 or 12 month Intern Programme

You will join UKWebCo.com as an intern at our South West London offices. There is an intern role available in each of the three main departments, Design, Projects, and Sales on a 6 or 12 month basis. The roles have been developed to offer you the opportunity to increase your skills ensuring you have exposure to both learn, and gain experience.

You will also have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of aspects within the business, including, Project Management, Online Marketing, Graphics Manipulation, Search Engine Optimisation, and Sales.

Your development will be supported by a senior member of your department.

These internships are aimed at those required to complete an internship as part of their post graduate qualification, we will also consider applicants requiring an internship as part of their under graduate degree.

Key Activities Include:

Design Intern -
Client Liaison
Website Analysis
Creating page designs
Researching new technologies
Corporate Identity
Design for print
User testing
Experience with some or all of HTML, Dreamweaver, CSS, php, mysql, Photoshop, W3C compliancy, FTP, required

Projects Intern -
Client Liaison
Website Analysis
Developing project specifications
Website hosting management
Email and domain management
Support general client enquiries
User testing
Any web skills and an understanding of the concept of databases will be an advantage

Sales Intern -
Client Liaison
Website Analysis
Preparing sales proposals
Preparing tender submissions
Sales administration
New business development
Any web skills and an understanding of the concept of databases will be an advantage
