Hr Officer
Duties include:
Working with HR Manager to ensure the global operational HR working practices comply with best practice & employment law (UK US and Japan).
Proposing and implementing change where appropriate:
Assisting with; changes to terms and conditions of employment maternity / paternity / parental issues flexible working requests secondments and transfers between offices, disciplinary/grievance issues holiday absence management leaver process including exit interviews when appropriate consultant/contractor renewals adhoc projects supporting the HRD and HRM·
Involvement in the resourcing process - conducting 1st round interviews as appropriate;·induction process - follow up meetings with new joiners to ensure positive introduction to CLS and to help maximise contribution of new employees;·
Management and ownership of the HR information held on the Intranet site ensuring it is updated accurate and promotes key information in a user friendly format.·
Management of the HR Budget noting arrears actual spends and budget adjustments throughout the year. Ensuring any discrepancies are highlighted and corrected liaising with the finance department where necessary.
The successful candidate will have previous HR experience and be CIPD qualified or working toward their CIPD. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Gook IT skills - Excel Word.
Hourly Rate £17.50 - £19.00
