Have a set worth of material all ready to go but we just need a bassist to complete our band. We're all experienced musicians who are known on the local scene so at the very least whoever joins us will get to play some challenging music at good venues with some quality touring bands. Hopefully we'll be able to take it further though...
Currently there's 3 of us & we make big spacey rock songs, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet & pretty. We all listen to different bands but common ground inc. epic stuff such as mew, oceansize, cave in, russian circles. We also like the catchy more straight forward stuff though like nirvana, and also more gentle melodic music like nick drake, neil young, grizzly bear. Pretty varied I guess but if you at least like some of those then hopefully you'll like what we do.

Any one considering applying will need to be able to play to a pretty good standard as some of the music is quite challenging, we're very patient though so enthusiasm is the main thing I think. You'll need to have a decent bass amp too & be able to get it to band practices.
